Do you offer international shipping?
Unfortunately, not at this time. All orders must be shipped to an address in the United Kingdom.
I’ve seen a rebind on your Instagram that I would like, but it is not available in your shop. Can I commission you to make it?
I would love to make you something similar. Please visit my ‘Custom Book Rebind’ listing to tell me what you would like. However, please note that there will be a slight difference to the one you’ve seen (for example different colours of book cloth and/or vinyl, or a small tweak to the design) because I have promised the authors I’ve gifted to that their rebinds would be unique. But don't worry - so will yours!
Do I get to put in any design requests?
Absolutely! If you have an idea of colours or design motifs, please contact me via the Contact form at the top of the website after you have purchased your Custom Book Rebind. But, equally, if you want to leave it to me that’s fine too.
Can I send my own books to be rebound?
I’d be happy to rebind your personal copy! Just reach out using the Contact tab and I’ll give you the shipping info, plus create a custom discount code for you to enter at checkout to adjust the price.
Where do you source your books?
I always purchase new books at full price, and wherever I can I will purchase from independent shops, websites which support independent bookshops or physical stores.
How long until my rebind arrives?
Each book is handmade to order so they will take time to make. My current estimate is around 4 to 6 weeks. This is an estimate and not a guarantee as production times vary depending on volume of orders, availability of materials, etc. Once the book is made it will be delivered using Royal Mail, 48 hours tracked service.
What if my book arrived damaged?
I take great care to package your book so that this does not happen. I use sturdy packaging and plenty of protection, but occasionally things can go wrong. If your book arrives with significant damage – ripped pages, detached cover, anything beyond normal handmade imperfection – please contact me and include photos so I can help resolve this.
As my books are handmade, note small imperfections are common and part of owning a handmade item. This would include small marks on the cover, end papers, slight imperfections in the vinyl, slightly uneven overhang or a little lifting on the end band. These types of minor imperfections are not considered damage. That being said, I have very high-quality standards for my books and will not send out anything that does not meet these.
What is the return/refund policy?
As my books are all handcrafted to order, I do not accept returns or offer refunds. If, despite careful packaging, your order arrives damaged, please contact me with photos and I will try to help resolve this. Full details are included in my returns and refund policy.
How do I care for my rebinds?
The books are made to be opened, handled and read. You care for them as you would any other treasured book – keep them away from water, direct sunlight, excess heat and humidity. Store them upright or flat when not in use – they look beautiful on a bookcase!
